SHASHIKALA (ACTRESS)

Shashikala Saigal, better known by her first name, was an Indian Film and Television actress, who played in supporting roles in hundreds of Bollywood films from the 1940s to 2000s on.She was born 4th August 1932 in Marathi family in Sholapur. She died on 4th April, 2021 in Mumbai.
Shashikala has received eight nominations for the Filmfare Best Supporting Acctress Award and won the award twice for her roles in Aarti (1962)and Gumrah (1963)
Shashikala received Padma Sri Award in 2007.
Shashikala received Life time Achievement Award at the V.Shantaram awards 2009.
