MICHAEL JACKSON (1958 - 2009)

Michael Jackson was an American Singer, Song Writer, and Dancer. Called the "King of the Pop" he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of 20th Century and one of the greatest entertainers in the history of popular music. His genre include
Pop, Soul, funk, rhythm and blues, rock, disco, dance pop, new Jack swing. Jackson was active during 1964- 2009.
Jacksons estimated sales of over 350 million records worldwide, make him the best selling popact of all time and the third best selling music artist in history. He was
Invited and honourd by the President of United States at White House three times.
Through stage and video performances, he popularized complicated dance techniques such as moonwalk, to which he gave the name. His sound and style have influenced artists of various genres, and his contributions to music, dance and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular for over four decades. Jackson is the most awarded artist in the history of popular music.
