GREGG KARUKAS (1962 - PRESENT)

Gregg Karukas is a Smooth Jazz Pianist from Bowie, Maryland.He experimented with drums, guitar, trumpet and Keyboards as a child, but it was not until his teens that he pursued music professionally as a pianist, having played with Bovie High School Starliners Big Band. Karukas has received multiple Best Keyboardist nominations at the Oasis and National Smooth Jazz awards. He has 12 studio Albums viz., "The Night Owl"(1987); "Key witness" (1990); " Sound of emotion" (1992); "Summer House (1993); " Home for the Holidays"(1993); " You'll know It's Me" (1995); "Blue Touch" (1998); "Nightshift"(2000); "Heatwave (2002), "Looking up"(2005); "Gk" (2009); "Soul Secrets" (2014).

TRIVIA:When I was in Tampa- Florida,in 2001, I was frequently tuning in WSJT- 94.1 Smooth Jazz FM Radio Stn, Tampa Bay.
