CLIFF RICHARD (1940 - PRESENT)

Sir Cliff Richard OBE is a British singer, musician, performer, actor and philanthropist. Richard has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. He has total sales of over 21 million singles in the United Kingdom and is the third top selling artist in UK singles chart history , behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
His Albums include "Summer Holidays"; "Cliff Sings"; "Wired for Sound"; The Young ones"; " I am nearly famous"; "Rock 'n' Roll"; "Juvenile", " Cliff at Christmas " etc.

TRIVIA:
This was a singer I was often listening to in the Radio Ceylon English programme when I was with Viswanath at Humpi Camp.
Cliff Richard was born in India (Lucknow) and had his primary schooling in India.
