MOODY BLUES(1964 - PRESENT)

The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964, initially consisting of Keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Leine, drummer Graeme Edge and bassist Clint Warwick. The group came to prominence playing rhythm and blues music.Thier genres include progressive rock, Art rock, Psychedelic music, Pop rock, Proto-prog, Symphonic rock.
Moody blues' most successful singles include ' Go Now'; 'Nights in white Satin'; ' Tuesday afternoon'; 'Question' and ' Your Wldest dreams'. The band has sold 70 million albums worldwide, which include 18 platinum and gold LPs.They were inducted into the the Rock and Roll Hall of the Fame in 2018.
TRIVIA:
In my earlier days I was not much inclined in English music, though I was listening to them. Later in college days though interested much in Hindi music , I had some malayali friends from Kerala who had lot of interest on western music. That created some inclination in me.
In 2008, when went to Los Angeles and staying with Suneeta, my brother Venu was also there in Freemont. Once Suneeta and Srinivas wanted to go to meet Srinivas' sister, who was staying in Sacramento. So they took me and suseela and dropped us in Rekha's house and proceeded. It was a long week end for them. We enjoyed company of Venu ,Anni and Rekhas family .
Venu had lot of liking for English music. Rekha and Vasu were helping him in collecting music DVDs. He introduced me the music of Richard Clayderman and Enya ( of them he was a great fan). After his return to Pudukottai, he started sending me the copies of hisDVD collection by courier. Thus I have a collection of music DVDs.
